Privacy Policy

Last updated: November 3, 2026

This policy explains what information StowSheet ("we", "us"), at stowsheet.pages.dev, handles when you use the site, and the choices you have. The site is operated by {{OWNER_NAME}}. Questions: {{CONTACT_EMAIL}}.

The calculators

All calculations run in your web browser. The dimensions, weights, prices and other values you enter are not sent to us or stored on our servers. Some tools save your last entries in your browser's local storage so they are still there when you return; that data stays on your device, we cannot read it, and you can clear it with a tool's Reset button or by clearing the site's data in your browser. Your light or dark theme choice is saved the same way.

Information collected automatically

The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes technical data needed to deliver pages and protect the site, such as IP address, browser type, requested page and time, and may keep it in logs for security and performance. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.

We may use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits. It does not use cookies or local storage and does not track you across sites; it records aggregate information such as page views, referring sites, country and device type.

Headings use a typeface served by Google Fonts. Your browser requests the font file from Google's servers, which receive your IP address and browser details as part of that request. Google states that it does not use Google Fonts requests to build advertising profiles; see the Google Fonts privacy FAQ.

Advertising and cookies

We use (or plan to use) Google AdSense to show ads. Google and other third-party vendors use cookies and similar technologies to serve and measure ads:

  • Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites.
  • Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the internet.
  • You may opt out of personalised advertising in Google's Ads Settings. You can also opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalised advertising at aboutads.info/choices or, in Europe, youronlinechoices.eu.
  • If you opt out you may still see ads; they will not be personalised.

Other ad technology vendors that Google works with may also set cookies when ads are shown. Google explains how it uses data at How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services and in its advertising technologies page.

Visitors in the EEA, UK and Switzerland

If you visit from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, you are asked for consent before advertising cookies are used, through a consent message from a Google-certified consent management platform. You can accept, reject, or choose purposes and vendors, and change your choice at any time through the privacy and cookie settings link shown on the page once the consent message is active. Where we rely on consent, the legal basis is your consent; for security logs it is our legitimate interest in running the site safely. You have the right to access, correct or delete personal data, to object to or restrict processing, and to complain to your data protection authority (in the UK, the ICO).

US state privacy rights

Residents of California and other states with consumer privacy laws may have the right to know what personal information is collected, to request deletion, and to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information for targeted advertising. We do not sell personal information in the ordinary sense. Ad cookies may count as "sharing" under some state laws; you can opt out with the links above, through your browser's Global Privacy Control signal where supported, or by emailing {{CONTACT_EMAIL}}.

Canada, Australia and India

We handle personal information in line with PIPEDA (Canada), the Australian Privacy Principles and India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act to the extent they apply to a site of this kind. The only personal information we hold is what you send by email.

Email

If you email us, we use your address and message only to reply and keep the conversation only as long as needed to deal with it.

Children

The site is for business users and adults. It is not directed at children under 13 (16 in the EEA), and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

Links to other sites

Pages link to carriers, standards bodies and other external sites. Their privacy practices are their own.

Changes

We will update this page if our practices change and revise the date at the top.
