Use of the calculators

The calculators and articles are free for general information and for personal or internal business use, including quoting and planning shipments. You may print and share results. You may not copy the site's content or code in bulk, frame the site, or scrape it with automated tools or place unreasonable load on it.

Estimates only

Results are estimates based on the values you enter and on published rules. They are not a freight quote, a classification ruling, customs advice or a contract term. The carrier's tariff, your rate agreement, the NMFC item for your commodity and your sales contract decide what is billed and who pays. See the disclaimer.

Accuracy and availability

We work to keep the calculators correct and the rules current, but we do not guarantee that the site is error-free, complete or up to date, or that it will always be available. Carriers change divisors and tariffs, and standards bodies revise their rules.
